Aim: To learn about the different emissions of climate change.

Factories can make lots of gas's and can spread into the air and the water.

Cows create a greenhouse gas called methane when cows poo, burp and fart.this is 25x as strong as co2.

Food makes lots of pulsion by transporting food in cars, planes, trains, and trucks. this makes co2.

Electricity makes co2 when they use coal and oil and also other stuff.

landfill makes lots of types of gas's when waste breaks down and rotten.

transport is the last one. It makes co2 when oil goes into the atmosphere.

Self management

 Hi, guys today we were talking about self-management. In this topic, We talked about how we can manage our learning. She told us to get into a group of two and make a DLO. Something I did that shows that I am a self-manager is I was organized with all my things at the right time.  What can I do to be a better self-manager? I can sit alone. Here is our DLO.

fossil fuels

Aim: To learn about the impact of fossil fuels on our environment.

What are the fossil fuels that are mined?

1. Coal
2. Oil
3. Natural gas

Materials 

1. Toosh pick
2.Plate
3. One choc chip cookie

Steps

1. Draw a picture of a cookie and a habitat what we chose which one of the fossil fuels come from. I picked the sea where the oil comes from.

2.We got the plate and the cookie and tried to get the chocolate chip out it without breaking the cookie with the toothpick. When it breaks that's what happens in the environment.

3. We did a drawing of the cookie in detail after we tried to get the chips out. They were all broken.

4. We did some writing about our habitat.

5. And finally, we did more writing about mining and how we can stop this.

Overall today I have learnt that fossil fuels are bad. I have also learnt that animals can die from mining because it destroys where they live. To stop this we need to stop using oil, coal. The oil gets made to petral. To stop this we need to make more electric cars.

Hi, guys today we needed to make a DLO about one topic that we chose. I chose soccer because it was my favourite sport. I will not talk much. Here it is.

Art week two

Hi, guys this week for art we are storyboarding. This is when you draw what is your stop motion on paper.  The teacher got us into groups of four. In my group was Kelesi, Qyn, Faye and Me. For this activity, there were three roles. Faye and Qyn's roles where the drawing. Kelesi was the cameraman. And finally, I was the director. In our story. We needed to include manaakitanga. this is an act of kindness. our story is a bird escape out fo bird prison and comes back to help his friends.

Art

Hi, guys today for hurumanu we are doing art. For this art hurumanu we are doing stop motion. Today we talked about what each word meant. For stop, we talked about what was the word s meaning or the same. here are some. Still, stay, stuck, freeze and not moving.  for motion, we got some words that are the same. act, movement, jiggle, do and go,


so to do this we need to make a character like lego and take a photo and move it and you need to keep doing this lots of times until you get lots of photos. I think I will like this hurumanu  of art.

Hi, guys for the last few weeks we have been doing dig tec.For the needed to pick an issue about our world. We needed to make an app, Game or story to show how this is affecting our environment. I chose to make a game. My issue is littering. 

First, we got some info about our issue here is the websites that I got them from. the first one was youtube. The second was my friend, Khush's blog. The last website is WWF. after this I did some research here is some of it.

Overall I really liked making the games and researching about them. Something that was hard was a research because you need to do lots of writing about three sites. something that was easy was making the game when I tried a lot. Have you ever used GameFroot to make a game?
