Hi, guys last week we have been looking at the water cycle. we made two experiences here is how you can make them.
AIM: TO LEARN ABOUT WATER ON EARTH.
Definition:
Scientific words:
- Evaporation. When water is heated by radiant energy it turns into water vapor.
- Transpiration. Evaporation from plants.
- Condensation. When water vapor cools, molecules join together and form clouds.
- Precipitation. When clouds get heavy the waters falls as rain, sleet, hail, or snow.
- Acidification: the action or process of making or becoming acidic.

THE WATER CYCLE SONG
THE WATER CYCLE EXPERIMENT
Bag 1: Normal Water cycle
Bag 2: Water cycle with CO2 added: like Oceans in climate change
Bag 3: Water cycle with ice added: like Antarctica in climate change
Bag 1: Normal Water cycle
Bag 2: Water cycle with CO2 added: like Oceans in climate change
Bag 3: Water cycle with ice added: like Antarctica in climate change
Material:
First bag
- 1x Zip lock bag
- 1x Vivid pen
- 2x double-sided tape
- ½ a cup of water
- 2x drop of blue food colouring
- 1x Scissors
Second bag.
- 1x Zip lock bag
- 1x Vivid pen
- 2x double-sided tape
- ½ a cup of water
- 2x drop of blue food colouring
- 1x Scissors
- litmus paper
- one tea baking powder
- soda water
Steps:
Step 1: get a zip lock bag
Step 2: Get vivid pen and draw the water cycle on it.
Step 3: pour a cup of water in the bag.
Step 4: put some blue food dye in the bag and put the tape on the bottom and the top of the bag.
Step 5: stick it on the window where is sun.
Bag two
Step 1: get a zip lock bag
Step 2: Get a vivid pen and draw the water cycle on it.
Step 3: pour a cup of soda water in the bag.
Step 4: put some blue food dye in the bag and one t spoon of baking soda and also put a litmus paper in it.
Step 5 tape it and stick it on a window where there is sun.
Two Images:
Findings:
Bag one did cycle but not a lot and the acid did not change.
one again the amount of water did change but not a lot.
bag two cycled the same amount as bag one.
The amount of water did change a lot more than a bag one.
The acid change a lot .

The normal water cycle worked well. It had normal size droplets in the bag and had no acidity.
the water cycle with acid worked well put had lots of acid in it but it still worked the same.
