Summer Learning Journey 2019-20 | Week 3, Day 5 |activity 3

Hi, guys, today is the last day of week three of the SLG. That stands for the summer learning journey. The purpose of it is for when you back to school from the big holiday your reading and writing does not drop in level. If you do not do the SLJ in the summer the stuff that you did through the year you will need to do all of it again.

Activity 3: Choose your own
You have now made it to the end of Week 3 and have earned the right to choose your very own scientist, technologist, or inventor who you think has changed the world. There are no right or wrong choices for this activity, so find someone who interests you and tell us about them on your blog. It could be someone from your family, church or community or someone famous that you admire.
Here are some starting points in case you get stuck:

While Italian innovator Antonio Meucci

While Italian innovator Antonio Meucci was the first person to make a phone that you can call someone on. These affected people by they can call people that are in different places.

  1. Hi David!

Cool post :) My name is Natasha and I'm going to be checking out a few of your Summer Learning Journey blog posts over the holidays. Hopefully I can offer you some reasonably helpful feedback along the way too!

I really like how you've explained what the Summer Learning Journey is at the top of your post, well done! That can be super helpful for some viewers who aren't aware of it. I also like your inclusion of a photograph of Antonio Meucci, good job remembering to add a link :)

If you want to improve your blog posts and make them even more interesting, you could embed a video off of Youtube relating to your post. Or perhaps you could do a side-by-side comparison of the first phone Antonio made and what phones look like today!

What do you want to do when your older, what's your dream job?

Excellent work David, have an awesome night. Until next time, happy blogging :)
