Martian code mission

Hi, guys welcome back to my blog today for Science we where making semaphore flags to write words with flags. In my group, It was Dylan, Reuben me. In Science, we studied visual communication. We had to choose a method to use ourselves. I choose the visual communication method of semaphore. This is where you use coloured flags to make all the letters of the alphabet. The flags are red and yellow but we made them red and orange as they were the colours we could get.

 Method:

Step:1 Get some paper that are two colours and half them.

step 2: glue the two pieces together and glue it on a stick. Here is what It should look like.

I think It was fun and It was easy and fun. We went out onto the field and stood about 30 metres apart and used the flags to signal words to each other. We got them all correct. I really enjoyed learning about Semaphore. This kind of repents who can we communicate from a long distance.

math DLO

Hi, guys welcome back to my blog. Today for maths we got some results of some of the people at our school. It was for activates like high jump, high jump and much more. Anyway, we needed to find the mean, median, range and mode. When we found the data we made some graphs to show what we found out. Here it is. I was in a group with Reuben, Dylan, Aliyah and Me.

So throughout this Data, we have done the mean, mode, median and range. for five subjects here is what we have done.

Writeing plan

Hi, guys welcome back to my blog. Today for writing we are writing about the Mars rover (perseverance). We have made a plan about what we are writing about. Here is my plan. We needed to write three topics and then two or three sentences about that topic.

Inclusivness

Hi, guys welcome back to my blog. Today for WGA we were talking about inclusiveness. This is when you judge people for lots of stuff like where they come from or their gender, skin colour and much more. Our teacher gave us a slide with questions. Here is the slide. Also, I will tell you about how I felt after this task. Here it is.

How did this make me feel?

I felt sad that not everyone is treated the same because I think everyone is good at something and everyone is different.

How have your thoughts changed during this lesson on inclusion?

I am always thinking about other people that how that feel. So I try to be inclusive all the time and try to not judge people.

Following gold

Hi, guys welcome back to my blog.  Today for reading we were reading a poem about gold mining. Our teacher gave us a poem and we need to write something to say was the poem was trying to tell us. Here are the poem and my writing.

I think the poem is trying to tell us the gold is hard to find. It is like guessing the right place to look for it. The poem is telling you that the river offers you clues to look for the best spot for gold. If you do not find gold the first time keep looking. I think he was hopeful of finding gold.  think he was lonly

I left my home for a new story,

my heart heavy with questions.

What is the chance and what is fate? What fortune

lies in rivers in slumbering wait?

No map brought me here – just tales

gilded in promises. I am

a rival among strangers, determined to turn

the earth inside out until my luck has changed.

I follow gold. Sometimes I am lucky

and meet its gaze and hold it close.

I am looking for a future, for my own

share of the light. The river offers few clues.

This is how you learn to walk alone.

This is how you write your story.

Gold mining

Hi, guys welcome back to my blog. Yesterday for reading we read about the gold rush in New Zealand. I have some facts for you to share. Here they are.

Gold is very expensive. It looks attractive shiny and it is very heavy. It is also hard to find. Gold is usually found near quartz. Quartz is a type if cristal. Gold is malleable. this means that you can melt it.

A long time ago gold was found in lots of places in New Zealand like Otago, South Island, the West coast Golden bay and much more. Since 1861 Otago found 260 tonnes of gold. Also on the West coast in 1865, there were about 274 tonnes on the west coast.

When anyone asked a miner were can I find gold. The miner world always say were it be there it be. The first European to discover gold in New Zealand was Charles Ring. He was from Tasmanian. One place that he found gold was the Driver creek in 1852.

In Otago, the gold rush started in  1860, in the golden bay, the gold rush started in 1862, In the West coast, the gold rush started in 1865 and finally in coroandal it started in 1867.

mars

When can a mission to mars or from mars happen?

It happens every 26 months when the two planets line up so it is easier to go to.

What are the two geological features no mars?

Big rocks or boulders and mountains.

What is one possible solution from the story about oxygen on Mars?

Mars oxygen experiment is an exploration technology experiment that will produce a small amount of pure oxygen from Martian atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2) in a process called solid oxide electrolysis.

If it doesn’t rain on Mars, where does the water come from?
FOr the ice already on mars. There was running water
