I am malala is a novel that we are reading at school It is about a kid talking for the right to learn and school. On the way home, she got shot in the head on the bus. One week later she survived the attack. Here is an activity that I did here it is.

100 word challnge

Hi, guys today we needed to write A 100-word challenge. In The 100 word, we needed to have your sentence But it is the wrong colour here is my 100-word challenge.

When the sun was coming down and the moon was rising a big young giraffe was greasing on some leafy green leaves. The young giraffe wanted to have a quick drink of water before he went to sleep.

When he got to the pool of water the water was brown. When he went to drink the water it tasted like salt also the water every day was nice and at the end of the day, It melted.The giraffe was so angry that it went to eat some more so it can have some water from the leaves. the end.

Filters

Aim: To make a filtration plant using household materials.

Water Filtration Plant

What is the filtration? this is when there is something that helps you clean something like water, air and oil. Even the internet has fillers.

Filtration is separating solids from liquids by adding a medium through which only the liquid can pass. 

Examples are:

1.  air
2.  pool
3.  water oil

Materials

1. bottle

2. filter paper

3. sand

4. scissors 

5. pebbles

6. water

7. sand

8. funnel 

Process - ( use verbs or doing words in each step )

Step 1

Cut the bottle or container. in the halfway mark.

Step 2

Put the top half upside down like a funnel in the bottom part.

STEP 3

Add layers of sand and some people like this.

STEP 4

Get 1 cup of dirty water and some small stones in a cup on their own.

STEP 5

Pour the dirty water into and the stones in. put the stones first.

Minutes                          1.    small drops and a little bit cleaner.           
                                        2.  brown and dropping slowly.
                                        3.  looking clean put still dirty.                                                                                                                4.   looking even cleaner put not clean enough to drink.                                                                   5.just getting cleaner every minute.

Conclusion: The first minute the water was dripping small and little. It was also cleaner than before. The second minute the water went darker and dropped slowly. The third minute it went cleaner put it was still dirty. In the fourth minute its getting cleaner every minute. On the fifth minute, it dropped all the water at the bottom.
 Our water was white at the end with a tint of green. The water dropped 32 times a minute. At the top, the bark, leaves and the dirt stayed at the top. The filter paper stopped lots of bad stuff like dirt go through the paper to the bottom.

drama

Hi guys for drama we do lots of things. One of the thing was the food pyramid. A food pyramid is a thing to tell you what to eat daily and stuff that you eat not that often. I made my own one. Here it is.

Another thing that we did is holiday doughnut. The 

holiday doughnut is when you get a partner and you stand in front of each other and tell them your name and tell them what you did on the holiday that is healthy for you.

The last thing we did is that we did the food corse. This is when you fresse and do an acchion about stuff. For us we did it about healthy food. Here is the video about us doing this.

reading plus

Hi, guys for the last few weeks I have been doing reading plus. Reading plus is a reading site that helps me read and be more fluent. You get to read any book you want. 

The Levels get harder when you read lots of books.  I can read  144 words per minute. My goal is to read 200 words per minute. my other goal is to get 95% of the time green.

white powder.

Today you will be a Forensic Chemist. 

A bag of white powder has been confiscated by airport customs.  You need to find out what white powder it is?

Aim: To learn about the makeup of different white powders.

There are a number of different white powders in our everyday life. Some of these are harmful and others are not. Test the four white powders listed to see which one has been found at the airport.

Here are some examples of everyday kitchen white powders.

Flour, Cornflour, Sugar, Salt, Baking Soda, Baking Powder, Icing Sugar, Tartaric Acid

Citric Acid, Gluten Free Flour

You will be given a small amount of 4 white powders on your cardboard. On the black cardboard using a magnifying glass look at the powders.

Look at them under your magnifying glass and record what you see. 

These are the four powders we will be using. Upload a photo of each powder. 


Before you add the iodine, vinegar or water you will need to divide each powder into 3.

Materials

1.  iodine
2.  vinegar
3.  water
4.  sugar
5.  cornflour
6.   baking soda
7. salt
8.cardbord
9.pipet

Steps

1. get a piece of cardboard and put the 4 white powders in the corners.
2. put the powder in the corners in thirds.
3. but all the three liquids in a third of a corner.
4. only but three drops.
5. watch and learn.
6. look and see what happens.

All the appearance were white powders. The sugar had large grains. The salt was medium grains. The baking soda has small grains And the cornflour had very small grains. All of the white powders smell like nothing. The Iodine made the powders change colour and to go hard. The water made the powders melt and sit for all of them.  finally, the vinegar did lots of things, it made them melt, absorb, bubbles and sits on the top.
