Aim: To learn the names of 10 household chemicals and identify if they are a solid, liquid or a gas.

Equipment:

1. Soap
2. Lemon juice
3. Salt
4. Vinegar
5. Sugar
6. Milk
7. Onion
8. Lemonade
9. Bleach
10. Baking Soda

Task 1: Put the 10 chemicals in a chart with the titles - Name, Chemical ingredient(s), Image, Solid/Liquid/Gas.



In science today we learnt about 10 things at home that had chemicals. Down below there is all the info that I got. I learnt more than 10 chemical.

  1. Kia ora David, well done on completing your first blog post for our home chemistry hurumanu. I can see that you have chosen images that represent the materials in your table. The table is difficult to read as it extends outside the width of the page and you need to fix this. Have you included all four points that Mr Palmer needs you to include? Remember that you need to them all if you want to get full points towards your science badge. Excellent start David!
